Before getting started, make sure the Sugar Calendar plugin is installed and activated on your WordPress site and that you’ve verified your license.
Exporting Events from Google Calendar
To get started, open the Google Calendar app on your device. On the left sidebar under My calendars, hover over the calendar you’d like to export and click the 3 dot icon next to it.
Then select the Settings and sharing option. This will direct you to the settings page for the specific calendar you selected.
Next, scroll to the Integrate calendar section and click the Copy icon next to the Secret address in iCal format field.
Using this link will make your Calendar available to external applications without making your entire calendar public.
Importing Google Calendar Events to Sugar Calendar
Go to your WordPress admin dashboard after copying the .ics URL from Google Calendar. Then navigate to Sugar Calendar » Tools and select the Import tab.
Once there, paste the .ics URL you copied into the Enter an ICS URL field.
Then click Import to proceed.
You should see a success message with the total number of imported events.
The imported events will be added to the default calendar on your site. You can view them from the Sugar Calendar » Events page.
