Which calendar platforms does Sugar Calendar support?
Sugar Calendar works with all major calendar platforms including Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Apple Calendar. It also provides direct .ics file downloads that work with virtually any calendar application you use.
Do attendees need a Sugar Calendar account to add events?
No. Attendees simply click the “Add to Calendar” button on your event page and choose their preferred calendar platform. They don’t need to create an account or install anything — it works instantly in their browser.
Will new events sync to user calendars?
If someone subscribes to your entire calendar feed, new events you add will show up in their synced calendar (it may take up to 24 hours for the changes to appear). Note that downloaded .ics files are static snapshots and won’t reflect any changes made after download.
Can I sync an entire calendar of events at once?
Absolutely. You can import entire calendars from Sugar Calendar to external calendar apps, which will include all events in that calendar. This is perfect if you want to give someone access to all your events at once, or if you manage multiple event calendars.
Is calendar sync available in the free version?
Calendar feeds and sync functionality are available in Sugar Calendar’s premium versions. This feature requires a Plus license or higher. You can upgrade anytime to unlock calendar sync along with other powerful features.
What information gets synced to calendars?
All essential event details sync to attendees’ calendars, including the event title, date and time, location, description, and any other details you’ve added to the event. This ensures attendees have all the information they need right in their calendar.
